Service Description
Omalaya Dance Meditation (45 minutes, or 1 hour with optional extension) After the dance, the silence sings. This practice balances cathartic release (dance) with traditional meditation (silent sitting) making it accessible to both beginners and seasoned practitioners. An optional 15-minute extension is available for those who wish to deepen their sitting practice. Dance Freely (30 minutes) • Allow your body to move freely to the music. Channel your energy into the dance. Move as softly or wildly as you like. • Keep your eyes slightly open with a soft downward gaze to avoid bumping into anything, while maintaining your focus inward. Sit Silently (15 minutes) • Observe whatever is happening inside or outside yourself. Simply remain present with whatever arises—sensations, emotions, or sounds. • Use a cushion if needed for comfort or posture. Sit or Lie Down (15 minutes, optional) • Continue to observe and feel whatever arises, without resistance. • If lying down, rest on your back with your arms by your sides, palms facing upward. The first stage will be accompanied by music. The other stages are silent and will conclude with the sound of a gong.
